For information, inspiration, motivation, entertainment... Here are the reasons that I love each one of these titles. You have to check these out.
A great short story not only about being complacent, but also about getting over the feeling of entitlement, overcoming fear, overcomplicating execution, making terrible excuses, and just getting on with it!Â
A timeless book with a very straight forward approach to being principle centered, putting first things first, starting with the end in mind, and a ton of other golden nuggets that have helped me in my career, family, and life in general.
Gary Vee is going to go down as one of the goats. The balance that he portrays in his emotional ingredient recipes is unmatched: Tenacity and Patience, Hustle and Patience, Kindness and Candor! 10/10 would recommend!
Tony Robbins has many great books, and even more great concepts, but this was the first one that I picked up... and I am grateful for his wisdom. A living legend: the knowledge that he's collected over his many years helping people has allowed him to help even more people by sharing it with the world.
We all know the how, the what, the when... but not many people can articulate the why. Beautifully worded and well researched concepts of the infinite v. the finite game. Love this concept. It's the reason why some companies have lasted the test of time, and others faded into oblivion.Â
Cilantro Diaries
This one hits home. Someone that looks like me, who came from an upbringing similar to mine, who also started at the bottom, and worked his way up, took big chances, made mistakes along with smart decisions, and it has been paying dividends for Lorenzo Gomez. Get it homie!
This book was a hard pill to swallow, but it makes too much sense and has yielded real world results for my relationships with former employees... focus on the strengths. That's it. Why be stretched thin to end up being mediocre in multiple metrics, when you are a rock star in one or two, the others come up as well or are not that important.Â
Details. It's all in the details of the routines that we set for ourselves. The discipline that it takes to do that one small task correctly and consistently, will set you up for any and all other tasks throughout your day/week/month/year/life. Brilliant.
Having mentors and a peer group with similar goals and interests will help you set, achieve and reassess your future.

Movies aren't just for entertainment, they can be a visual and emotional aid to situations that have and can present themselves in REAL LIFE ALSO! and sometimes they're funny and entertaining, these are some of my favorites and why.
Equilibrium
I don't find value in very many TV shows, entertainment... sure, but value, not really. With a few exceptions.
